I am a mixed media textile artist. I love to combine different mediums and materials to create a new fabric. Quite often I will stumble upon a technique then immerse myself in making lots of samples with as many different variations of that technique as I can. Occasionally I take them further to create finished pieces. For me the joy is in discovering a new technique rather than creating a finished piece and I love to share my experiments with anyone that is willing to listen. My passion has taken over my life - and my home!

I am co-author of the book 'Stitching the Textured Surface' published by d4Daisy in July 2009 and have another book 'Fabulous Surfaces' due for publication, also by d4Daisy, in November of this year. I have had several articles published in Workshop on the Web.

I teach workshops and give talks around the country and have demonstrated for the ICHF shows at the NEC in Birmingham and in Cardiff. The tab headed 'Diary' on the navigation bar shows my commitments so far for 2012 but is being updated regularly.
